A blue screen error or infamously known as the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD), another name is the Windows Stop Error, usually happens when the operating system Windows detect an anomaly, whether from software or hardware, that prevents it from working properly. Basically anything that is of sync in your PC can cause the error to appear.
The Quick Fix
A blue screen of death fix that often times work is just to simply reboot your PC. If you are lucky rebooting your PC once will do the trick. There are times though that you have to reboot the PC several times.
Change the RAM
If rebooting does not work you might want to take a look at the hardware. Another blue screen of death fix is to simply change the RAM or memory of your PC. It’s that thingy that goes into the slot near the processor. If you don’t know your way around the inside of your system unit ask a professional’s help.
Check New Hardware
If your PC sprung to life after rebooting, and if you have installed new hardware like a graphics card, you can try reinstalling the driver as this can also be the cause of the blue screen error. Try searching online for a updated version of the driver.
Registry Clean Up
Running registry cleaner software is also a great blue screen of death fix. These software delete the records in the registry that are obsolete that sometimes causes the PC to crash.
Run an Anti-Virus
Running an anti-virus can also help fix the BSOD. Most malware affect how your PC run and can cause this problem.
